Lifelong Learning Entitlement
The Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE) is a new initiative from the UK government which unlocks access to student finance for learning throughout your working life.
Traditionally, higher and further education has been built around full-time degrees and qualifications taken straight after school or college.
But that doesn’t work for everyone. Many people need to fit study around life commitments or want to return to learning later to upskill.
The LLE helps you to do that, enhance your skills, retrain and supports you in acquiring new skills as you progress through your career.
Subjects
A range of interesting and career enhancing subjects are available, aligned to areas of expected economic growth within the UK.
The subject areas and modules which will be offered under the Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE) initially include; Computing, Engineering, Architecture, Economics and Health and Social Care. The subject areas may expand over time.
